After purchase of Brain Innovation products, your data is stored in order to handle (subscription) licensing and to inform about important software updates. Brain Innovation will not sell or otherwise provide your personal data to third parties. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
If a support case involves sending some MRI data sets to Brain Innovation’s support employees, data is only accepted in case that you ensure that it is properly anonymized. Anatomical MR data must also be made unidentifiable by using a defacing or skull stripping routine. Brain Innovation will delete your data one month after the support case is closed, or at any time that you request deleting the data.
Brain Innovation retains your personal data for as long as your license subscription continues or for as long as is necessary to deliver our support services. If you decide to stop using our software products, we will delete your personal data at your request.
Your Rights with Respect to your Personal Data
You have the right to withdraw your consent with respect to our use of your personal data. You also have the right to access your data and to modification or deletion in the event your data as stored by us are incorrect or otherwise unlawful. Next thereto you have the right to request us to provide you with your data in a machine readable and interoperable format.
