This page lists sample data sets with associated exercise texts. You can use the provided material to learn basic and advanced features of BrainVoyager QX. The first example data set "Objects DICOM GSG" corresponds to the data which is used in the Getting Started Guide.
We suggest to extract the downloaded sample data sets into the "BVQXSampleData" folder, which should have been created in the "Documents" folder (Linux, Mac, Windows Vista) or "My Documents" folder (Windows XP) after installation of BrainVoyager QX. The downloaded ZIP files should be extracted with pathes enabled in order to put the data in appropriate subfolders. If, for example, the extraction of the "ObjectsDicomGSG.zip" file is run in the "BVQXSampleData" folder, the extracted individual data files will be placed in the "BVQXSampleData/ObjectsDicomGSG" sub-folder. We recommend to download and extract the exercise texts also in the "BVQXSampleData" folder. They will not be put in subfolders but reside directly in the "BVQXSampleFolder" for easy access.
If you have performed a full installation of BrainVoyager QX, you do not need to download the Getting Started Guide again (the exercise text for the "Objects" sample data), since it will be available already in the "GettingStartedGuides" folder of the "BrainVoyager QX" installation folder. On Windows, the Getting Started Guide is also available via the "Programs" menu.
